Service & delivery

Reduce common-mode currents that corrode your vessel from within.

Every variable-speed drive emits high-frequency noise. Without a controlled return path it travels through bearings, shafts, propellers, and where it meets seawater, it corrodes. We locate the source, measure it, and mitigate it.

The problem is structural.

Every variable-speed drive generates high-frequency electrical noise. Without a controlled return path, this noise travels through the ship structure: through bearings, shafts, and propulsion mechanisms. Where it crosses metal in contact with seawater, electrolytic corrosion begins.

The process is slow and invisible. Repeated component replacements without a confirmed root cause are a common indicator.

Measured on board

Same vessel. Same drive. Measured before and after.

A non-invasive solution, engineered per vessel or fleet, no changes to the frequency converter and no impact on class certification. The reduction is confirmed by measurement before handover.

What the service contains

Reduces common-mode corrosion

Propellers, bearings, and CPP mechanisms are protected from electrolytic degradation caused by stray current.

Confirms the root cause

An on-board survey and written report establish whether common-mode currents are the cause, before any solution is specified.

No impact on class certification

The solution is installed externally. Class certification and supplier warranties are unaffected.

Verified by measurement

Post-installation measurements confirm the achieved reduction. Results are documented before handover.

How we work

Every recommendation is grounded in instrument data from the actual power system.

Start with a survey

Find out what your power system is doing to your vessel.

We measure on board and deliver a written report with a root cause analysis.
