One partner, from grid to data.

Our parallel hybrid solution is a robust, proven design that integrates energy storage with a DC grid and a shaft generator. A low-voltage Shore Connection System provides an IEC 80005-3 compliant shore supply. It is built for easy, low-cost retrofit and suits merchant vessels, fishing vessels, tankers and others with diesel-mechanical powertrains.

Whether a serial or parallel hybrid is the right fit, we design and integrate the power and energy system, and our time-domain simulation predicts fuel consumption and battery lifetime in advance.

Vessel grids With WE Tech Oy

WE Drive™ DC grid.

Through our partnership with Finnish WE Tech Oy, we deliver the WE Drive DC grid: a liquid-cooled DC grid with integrated VFD control, flexible enough to accommodate a wide range of topologies and power-system designs. It has been delivered to around 270 vessels worldwide, and is a mature, reliable platform.

Charging

Shore Connection System.

A reliable, high-power, low-voltage shore connection is essential for any hybrid or fully electric vessel that charges from shore. Ours supports dual-voltage charging at both 400 V and 690 V with easy switchover, using connection boxes with IEC 3PX connector sockets.

On retrofit projects it doubles as the integration switchboard, connecting a new DC grid to the existing AC switchboard and consumers.

Control layer

PEMS, the intelligent control layer.

Our Power and Energy Management System is the control layer for hybrid and fully electric power systems, for new builds and retrofits alike. It continuously monitors and optimises how power is distributed across generators, batteries, shore connections and consumers, keeping operation safe, efficient and low-emission.

PEMS handles automatic load sharing, power-reserve management and battery state-of-charge control, and moves seamlessly between diesel, hybrid and fully electric modes. It is fully integrated with our IAS and the MIIRA ecosystem, so real-time performance data flows straight into MIIRA Cloud and MIIRA Onboard.

Integrated Automation System.

Our IAS gives the crew a single, comprehensive overview of the vessel's onboard equipment, with control and alarm monitoring across a wide range of systems. Every solution ships with our cybersecure data collection, logging data to MIIRA Cloud.

Data

Cybersecure data collection.

A reliable, secure pipeline for high-frequency operational data, from the systems onboard to MIIRA Cloud. It buffers and transmits in line with IACS UR E26 and E27, so the vessel stays compliant and the data stays protected.
